Orchestra is in full swing at CMS.  The beginners are learning more new notes each day, advanced players are working hard on technique and music, seventh and eighth grade classes each have five small ensembles working hard, and the Chamber Orchestra never sounded better!  We have quite a few performances in the upcoming months.  Check out our schedule!  You should look at COLE on the class calendar for details of each event.

February 10th:     West Area “Stringathon” rehearsal and concert at Smokey Hill High School, 3:00 pm – 8:00 p.m.

You may be wondering when we have time to learn all this music.  The answer – skills lead us to the music – and performance is the outcome.  Come and enjoy the wonderful skills and artistic awareness your child has learned.  This is our time to give our gift of music back to you parents and the community.
