Sixth grade students explored props and costumes as actor’s tools, and now they focus on movement and gesture as expressive tools. First they told an entire original story without words - using only movement, props, and costumes. These performances were filmed and made into silent movies! Now, their quarter ends a with a final, scripted scene and we watch their characters come alive.
Seventh grade students explored the complex acting tools of rhythm and memorization. After improvisational practice with these skills, they presented scenes that celebrate what they’ve learned.
Eighth grade students have a showcase performance of their improvisation talents; parents and teachers are invited! Period 1 show is on Jan 15 from 8:15 – 9:00 a.m. and Period 2 is on Jan 14 from 9:05 – 9:50. It’s standing room only for all of these talented performers!
NOTE: Campus gives a TALL STANDING OVATION and a LOUD BRAVO to all the cast and crew of December's performances of Date with a Vampire!
