Twice a year, Campus Middle School Presents an after-school production including all grades.  In the fall, auditions begin for a comedy presented Dec 11, 12, and 13.  Auditions are competitive and students rehearse three days a week for months.  Students may also apply to be on crew to run everything behind the scenes.  Contact Pamela Nocerino for information or check out the COLE site for After-School Productions.  Access Code W8TWH-M66TF


In January, students audition for a larger musical production with performances May 13-16.  These singing/dancing auditions are also competitive, and there are behind the scenes opportunities available again.  Students meet after-school at least three times a week for months.  Contact Tegan Palmer for information or check out the COLE site for After-School Productions. Math Team

The 7th and 8th grade Math Team meets every Monday from 3:10-4:00 in Ms. TeKolste's room, room 308.  The purpose of these practices is to develop problem solving skills and to prepare for upcoming meets against other CCSD middle schools.  There is one meet per month and each meet focuses on a different mathematical topic.  October's topic is Probability, Statistics & Number Theory and November's topic is Geometry!  At meets, students have the opportunity to compete individually and on a team. Creative Writing Club

Third Thursday of the month (in general)

For kids who love to write, any grade level, but more or differently than in the classroom context.


Yearbook club meets Tuesdays after-school from 3:10pm to approximately 4pm in room 320.  Club members work on a variety of jobs including taking photos of the clubs and sports, designing pages, helping with paperwork for orders and photo permissions as well as helping with promotional campaigns.  For more information contact Ashley Merriman at


The debate club will start in February. Students lead discussions about controversial topics and current events. We will meet every other week on Tuesdays or Thursdays (TBD). We will meet room 418. Contact Steve Weiss for more information at


BRAIN BOWL:  Academic Trivia for Middle School

Brain Bowl meets Thursdays after school, 3:05-4:00

For those of you who are new to Brain Bowl, here is what you can expect:

  •  A great time competing in grade level teams

  • A great place to make new friends

  • Laughter & learning

Each practice includes both written-round and oral-round practice:

  • Written questions: Multiple choice questions and students check answers when complete

  • Oral-round practice: Teams compete against each other for the first correct answer.

  • A typical question: What flying insects have feathery antennae?

In February, we go to a regional tournament in Littleton (5 morning rounds of 30 questions; elimination/championship rounds in the afternoon). We have returned home with trophies the last several years!

In January, we might go to two practices a week (Tue. and Thu.) to prepare for the tournament. At least one practice each week is required.
