Cherry Creek Association for Gifted and Talented: The Cherry Creek Association for Gifted and Talented information:  You are invited to the Cherry Creek GT community meeting on November 5. Please join us; our meetings are open to any interested stakeholders.   All are welcome; teachers, administrators, parents, grandparents, etc.
Our meeting agenda includes time for you to share your concerns, questions, and ideas.  We'd like to hear how Cherry Creek GT may help you and your children learn more about giftedness and navigate gifted educational opportunities.

TOPIC:  Twice-Exceptional Learners
Rebecca Lopez, Cherry Creek School District SPED Coordinator for Twice Exceptional Programming will present on Twice-Exceptional (2E) learners.  Twice-Exceptional learners are formally identified as having a learning disability, emotional disorder, communication disorder, and/or physical disability AND are also formally identified as gifted in one or more areas including intellectual ability, specific academic ability, or are recognized for extraordinary talent in creative and/or artistic areas or leadership.

Join Cherry Creek GT at the Cherry Creek Schools' Advisory Council for Gifted and Talented. The purpose of this Advisory Council is to "offer a means for district and building level representatives to focus on the development and implementation of goals for Gifted and Talented Education and to provide a network for communication, support, and accountability."
