It is almost flu season in Colorado. This is the time to ask your healthcare provider about getting a flu vaccine. Many flu shot clinics are as close as your nearest pharmacy, grocery, or department store. Influenza can result in up to a week of missed school, and we’d really like to see your students here every day. If your student should develop a fever above 100 degrees, body aches, severe headache please keep them home until they are fever-free for 24 hours without Tylenol or ibuprofen.
Thank you to everyone who found their student’s immunization records, got their boosters, and sent those records in to me. We are well on our way to having a safely immunized community here at school. If you are unsure about your student’s immunization status or still needs a vaccine and you need assistance getting this completed, please call or email the school nurse:
All seventh grade students and all students new to Cherry Creek School District will have vision and hearing screening at Campus in the upcoming weeks. If there is a need for further evaluation, letters will be mailed to parents/guardians. If you do not want your student tested, please call the school nurse.
