How To Take Care of Your School Computer

Student Computer Instructions

Welcome to Campus Middle School! You are being provided with a computer that you will use both at home and at school. It is your responsibility to make sure that your computer is completely charged every night, so it’ll be ready to go for your classes. This computer will be yours until you either enter 9th grade, at which point you will be provided with a different computer, or you leave the Cherry Creek School District.

When you log into your computer for the first time you will be asked to enter your Cherry Creek username. This is provided at the top of this handout. The username will always be the first initial of your first name and your last name. Sometimes there is a number added. The first time you login, your password will be your 8-digit Student ID number that was provided to you at registration and is also listed above.

**Important: When you are finished using your computer at night make sure you ‘Sign Out’, but leave your computer plugged in and turned on (on the login screen) overnight so that it can receive updates. You may close the lid, just don’t power it off. This is the way to store the computer every night!

If you have any problems with your computer, go to the Tech Office located in the library.

***Be sure to bring your charged computer with you to school every day. It’s a good idea to bring the power cord too, just in case you need to recharge at school.***

You are responsible for your computer for as long as you are enrolled at Campus. That means that there may be fines for damaged or lost computers or charging cords. Please check out this page on the Campus website on how to care for your computer:
